The 2024 International Accounting Section Midyear Meeting will be held in Atlanta, GA, on January 25-27, 2024. The meeting is a joint conference with the International Association for Accounting Education & Research (IAAER).
THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTING SECTION’S 20th ANNUAL PHD/NEW FACULTY CONSORTIUM The International Accounting Section (IAS) PhD/New Faculty Consortium, partially funded by the KPMG, will be held on January 25, 2024 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, at the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Up to 20 accepted PhD students will have all IAS Midyear Meeting fees waived (inclusive of the 2024 International Accounting Section Midyear Meeting fee) and the IAS will cover lodging at the conference hotel for one night (either Wednesday or Thursday night) at the rate of $189 per night plus taxes and fees. The consortium program will consist of invited talks from senior faculty and panel sessions, so PhD students and new faculty are encouraged to apply even if they do not have research projects underway. Consortium participants are required to attend the 2024 International Accounting Section Midyear Meeting that runs from January 26 through January 27 in the afternoon. Interested participants are encouraged to complete the application form linked at https://aaahq.org/Meetings/2024/IAS-Midyear-Meeting/Doctoral-Consortium by Monday, October 23, 2023. Capacity is limited so please submit your application as soon as possible. You will receive a decision email by Monday, November 13, 2023. Attendance is subject to approval by the consortium organizers. PhD students and new faculty within 3 years of graduation are encouraged to apply.
